Pontresina is one of Grison’s most famous holiday resorts and a recognised climatic health resort (category 2). Thanks to the dry and pure air, the pleasant climate and the more than 300 sunny days per year it offers its guests the possibility to recharge their batteries. Pontresina is located in a side valley of the Upper Engadin that is sheltered from the wind. The village is a pioneer community with regard to permafrost and avalanche protection.
The traditional Engadin village consists of four settlements – Laret, San Spiert, Giarsun and Carlihof – and is situated at the foot of three glaciers and Piz Bernina (4049 m.a.s.l.). It hosts the biggest mountaineer school of Switzerland and the highest situated conference centre of Europe.

As a guest of the Hotel Station you are entitled to reduced admission tickets for the Bellavita Pool and Spa. For some the Bellavita Pool and Spa in Pontresina is synonymous with relaxation, whereas for others it is synonymous with fun. A place of bliss for lively children as much as for people in search of relaxation. A special highlight is the all-year open outdoor pool making the Bellavita Pool and Spa an exceptional, 34°C warm bathing experience amidst the Engadin mountains.

CLIMBING GARDEN PONTRESINA
The Hotel Station is situated directly next to the climbing garden and offers you reduced admission tickets for an adventurous day. Balance, roll, teeter, climb, crawl, sway, hop, rise, or jump from position to position on the various routes. There are no limitations to your creativity in order to overcome the obstacles! Different degrees of difficulty ensure that climbers of every age and experience are challenged. The climbing garden is open to children of four years and over.

ROSEGTAL
The idyllic Roseg Valley offers peace and tranquillity and the possibility to recharge your batteries, as well as doing sports or enjoying a horse carriage ride. Popular among hikers and bikers in summer, it’s sought after by walkers and people engaging in cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in winter. The Roseg Valley isn’t far from the Hotel Station and the horse carriages are parked right behind the hotel.

ALPINE DAIRY PONTRESINA
Pure nature ... the alpine dairy is situated on the beautifully located ‘Alp Nuova’ at the foot of the Morteratsch glacier. It’s the place where from July to September cheeses such as Heutaler-Alpkäse, Gletscher-Mutschli and Molkeziger are manufactured, while quite a few things are going on… The alp brunch, the alp restaurant and the whey bath as well as various events, open-air or in the Gletscherstübli of the alpine cabin are highly popular.
